JetBlack v1.6 Changenotes - Finally! There's a Title Screen! Also some intro cinematic text changes! OoooOOoooOoo - Boomburst's flavour text has been fixed up. - Skarmory has been added to the encounter table so now a full pokedex is possible! (Oops) Talking of encounters, Larvesta has been added as a 1% encounter in Desert Resort. - Dusclops' evolution method was fixed so now it does evolve when leveled up holding a Reaper Cloth. In addition. Tyrogue's evolution method has been changed. Now it will evolve into Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan or Hitmontop when leveled up holding an X Attack, X Defend or X Speed respectively. - A whole tonne of Pokemon adjustments have been made, both Statwise as well as learnsets (Thanks to Z-A giving a lot of Pokemon some new toys to play with). A seperate document has been made that notes all the changes and of course, the stats/learnsets documentation has been updated. Some trainer rosters have been updated with a few of these changes. - Cheren's Post-Game team has seen a bit of a level increase! Now he should be a touch more Bosslike. - Talking of bosses! Ingo and Emmet have been added as Post-Game superbosses, they are able to be found in Anville Town after you beat Ace Trainer Estreth's Post-Game battle in Shopping Mall Nine. - Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect's respective events are now able to be accessed! No need for a Fateful encounter, just have them in your party and the event will trigger. Scientist Dudley for Genesect's event is now a 6 v 6 boss battle while also giving all 4 drives afterwards. - Paravolt Charge and Leech Life have had animation upgrades. - Gemima, A new NPC in Nacrene will trade 5 of each of the Elemental Gems for Dragon Scales! Some overworld items have been replaced by Dragon Scales as well as a few hidden items. Dragon Scales are also a 5% chance to be held by most Dragon Pokemon. v1.5 Hotfix3 notes - School Kid Sylvia was causing freezes in Black City, due to the fact that her Swampert only had 3 moves (and the 4th slot was completely blank instead of having ---- ) - Bianca's final battle after defeating Alder has had AI adjustments. She'll no longer attack her own Pokemon now. v1.5 Hotfix2 notes - Cleaned up some missing text for some trainers. - Scientist Shannon's Rotom in Village Bridge now has their correct special move depending on forme. No Leaf Storming Rotom-Fan or Rotom-Mow using Blizzard. - Fixed a Game Breaking bug where if you entered Black City from Route 15, the game would freak out and would think that you are permanently in an Entralink Mission. The warp that affected this has been corrected. v1.5 Hotfix notes - Cleared up a few Text mishaps such as Zenith saying that her favourite move is Flamethrower and not "Flamethower" - Bulbasaur is no longer able to be encountered by shaking dirt in Chargestone Cave. Durant is back, it should've been Durant all along but Bulbasaur wanted to join in apparently. - Reshiram in N's Castle is now encountered at Level 56, up from 50 and actually HAS a Dragon type move now - Blitzle and Zebstrika now learn Wild Charge at Levels 38/40 respectively and Volt Tackle at Levels 49/52. - Sorted out and added Striaton City to the wild encounter documentation. - A new side-patch is now available which removes EV gains from all Pokemon. This is entirely optional in case you want to have a bit more of a cheeky challenge or you just like playing without EVs! Make sure you apply the patches over a clean ROM just to be on the safe side! JetBlack V1.5 Changenotes - Five new moves have been added. Ceaseless Edge, Triple Arrows, Flower Trick, Torch Song and Aqua Step, each with their own custom move animations. Several Pokemon have had these moves added to their learnset and some trainer rosters have had their rosters adjusted accordingly. (See below) - Made a few slight edits to Battle Subway Pokemon, mainly to replace the deleted moves with some more thematic ones (So no bumping into Mystical Fire Vanillite or a Cinccino using Triple Arrows) - Fixed Power-up Punch's animation so it doesn't freeze the user's sprite. - Some move adjustments have been made. The Move changes documentation has been updated accordingly; - The Pledge moves have had their Base Power increased from 80 to 85. This is mainly so that Oshawott enjoyers can use the move for more than two seconds should they wish (Because TM55 Scald is literally right round the corner!) but it's also a nice little boost for Snivy and, by extension, Tepig. - Blaze Kick and Razor Shell have had their accuracy bumped up to 100%. I have had far too many crucial misses with those moves.. - Whirlpool, Sand Tomb, Fire Spin and Wrap have had their Base Power bumped up to 60, Accuracy to 100% and now completely bypass Substitutes. This change is a backport from the upcoming JetBlack 2. - Guillotine is now no longer a OHKO move and is now a 140 BP Steel move (with 80 accuracy) that has a chance to increase Attack. - Ice Beam, Psychic, Dragon Pulse and Hyper Voice have had their PP raised to 15. Energy Ball has seen the same PP increase but also a +10 Power boost so it's now 90. - In line with the trapping move adjustments and new moves added, some Pokemon have had their learnsets slightly tweaked. Stats and Learnsets Documentation has been updated with these changes. There are also a few extra additions too; -Sand Tomb: Dwebble, Crustle, Golett, Golurk. -Fire Spin: Heatmor, Larvesta, Volcarona, Deino, Zweilous, Hydreigon. -Whirlpool: Ducklett, Swanna, Alomomola, Frillish, Jellicent. -Skull Bash: Stoutland, Durant, Electrode, Qwilfish, Glalie. -Power-Up Punch: Cubchoo, Beartic, Bibarel -Earth Power: Cryogonal. -Drill Run: Vanillish, Vanilluxe -Giga Drain: Cofagrigus. -Mystical Fire: Cofagrigus. -Energy Ball: Klinklang. (Also has compatibility with TM) -Quiver Dance: Maractus -Triple Arrows: Mienfoo, Mienshao, Zapdos, Hitmontop, Medicham -Ceaseless Edge: Samurott, Pawniard, Bisharp, Zangoose, Seviper -Infernal Parade: Ninetales -Flower Trick: Pansage, Simisage, Cottonee, Whimsicott, Maractus, Vileplume, Bellossom, Roselia, Roserade. -Torch Song: Victini, Pansear, Simisear, Heatmor, Meloetta, Ninetales, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Altaria -Aqua Step: Panpour, Simipour, Ducklett, Swanna, Beartic, Meloetta*, Marill, Azumarill, Ludicolo, Bibarel. *Replaces Torch Song and can only be learned as Pirouette Forme during Battle, don't worry though, you can still relearn Torch Song as Aria Forme. Trainer Rosters have been updated with some of these moveset changes. See the documentation for details. - Vanilluxe, Klanklang, Ludicolo, Shiftry, Vileplume and Bellossom have seen some adjustments to their base stats. Full details are in the Stats and Learnsets documentation. - Roserade now has Technician instead of Poison Point in ability slot 2 (it was always supposed to have this but after double checking documentation and in game, it still had Poison Point. Oops) - Binding Band now replaces the Antidote in Pinwheel Forest - Interior. - TM53 Energy Ball and TM22 SolarBeam have had their locations switched. - A new questchain has been added to the post-game, allowing all the missing Legendary Pokemon to be caught. Now it is possible to catch every single Pokemon within JetBlack! -As part of the new questchain, a new item has been added to the Giant Chasm, the Enigma Stone! Take this to a fella in Anville Town and he will refine it into a Soul Dew (and also unlock the new Veteran NPC in Nimbasa City for the Legendary Pokemon!) - Went over the encounter tables and added various Pokemon that were missing so that the full national dex CAN be completed (Will require breeding) - Every Pokemon, that can breed, has had their Egg Cycles set to 0. Now Eggs will hatch super fast which will be a big help for those who want to complete their PokeDex or Shiny Hunt. Manaphy is the only exception. (it has an Egg Cycle of 5 instead) - Fennel in Striaton City has finally decided to stop lying that it's "difficult to forget a Hidden Move" - The Striaton Brothers have moved from picking herbs and training Abundant Shrine to picking herbs and training in Route 12. The amount of trouble Abundant Shrine has caused me... It should be renamed Problem Shrine. - Landorus in Problem Shrine's event has been changed. Now it will just outright attack you when you talk to the shrine. No need to bring along Tornadus and Thundurus (is this the ideal outcome? No. But it was the only solution I had.) -You shouldn't need to start a new save with this new version due to the Engima Stone being a brand new item event and not replacing another item- Okay, this turned out to be a very meaty patch, but now JetBlack development is offically done! JetBlack V1.4 Changenotes - Tubeline Bridge's Biker Morgann and Biker Jeremy now have edited teams and have been added to the documentation. They are still only avaible to be battled on Fridays after meeting Ghetsis there. - Mienfoo has been added as a Shaking Grass encounter in Outer Pinwheel Forest replacing Throh and Sawk (but don't worry, they are still in the Dark Grass). The Area Dex has been updated to factor this change as well. - Ace Trainer Dheku's first battle in Victory Road has had a team shift, changes have been noted in the documentation. - Vanillite now doesn't come in chilli flavour and correctly learns Autotomize instead of Mystical Fire at level 8, this is something that would only be found out by breeding or move reminder during a playthrough as documentation noted that Vanillite and it's relatives would learn Autotomize at Level 8 as intended. (Vanillish now also correctly learns Autotomize at Level 8 and not Light Screen) - Berry Bundle merchants have been added to several towns across Unova, they work similarly to how the MooMoo Milk vendor works in that you pay them that cold hard munty and you get a stack of Berries. They are found in; Nacrene City Pokemon Centre* -Basic restoration Berries (Oran, Pecha, Cheri etc) Nimbasa City Pokemon Centre -Exotic/Natural Gift Berries Driftveil City Pokemon Centre -Higher End restoration Berries (Sitrus, Leppa, Lum etc) Driftveil City Market -Stat Pinch Berries Mistralton City Airport -Type reducing Berries (fair warning, this will be a very long sequence! Opelucid City Pokemon Centre -Exotic Pinch Berries (Custap, Starf etc) *Cheren still gives the player the Pecha Berries in Nacrene City but his dialogue has been slightly edited to reference that he got them from a seller in Nacrene's Pokemon Centre - The move "Natural Gift" has been added to various Pokemon's movesets; Snivy, Servine, Serperior, Patrat, Watchog, Sewaddle, Leavanny, Venipede, Whirlipede, Scolipede, Maractus Trubbish, Garbodor, Vanillite, Vanillish, Vanilluxe - Talking of Moves: Power-Up Punch, Infernal Parade, Boomburst, Skull Bash, High Horsepower, Liquidation, Mystical Fire, Paravolt Charge and Lumina Crash now have updated move animations. This is something I have wanted to do since v1.0 but the tools were just not there at the time. And that's it. v1.4 is the final *Planned* update for JetBlack. Thank you so much to everyone who has tried out JetBlack. What started as just a little venture into RomHacking to make my next personal playthrough of Pokemon Black interesting has evolved into something far more ambitious than I ever planned to make for my first ever RomHack. JetBlack V1.3 Changenotes. - Area Data has been updated for Unova Dex Pokemon, now you can check the Pokedex to see where Pokemon are without having to rely on Documentation. - Volcarona now learns TM24 Thunderbolt, many Volcarona trainers have had Thunderbolt in their moveset and it was intended to learn Thunderbolt via TM, but it's something that completely passed by me not once, not twice, but thrice... Ooops. - Bianca's Pignite in the Castelia-Route 4 Gate battle now has Power-Up Punch instead of Arm Thrust. Past documentation did correctly note this however in JetBlack Pignite doesn't learn Arm Thrust. - Scientist Shannon in Village Bridge actually has the team listed in the Documentation now and and not her vanilla team of snakes, sludge and shrooms. How I've missed this after all this time I cannot say. - The Riches Draco's Floatzel in Undella Town and Hiker Kit's Kabutops actually have their documented moves now and have left the Struggle bus. - Ducklett and Swanna have the move "Aqua Jet" added to their learnset while Swanna also has a bonus +2 added to it's base Attack and Special Attack stats. Did they necessarily need this? No. Did I like the idea of a Duck/Swan firing itself like a torpedo at it's foes? Yes. - Trick and Extransensory have had their levels learnt switched in Zorua and Zoroark's learnset. - Meloetta has had a slight learnset adjustment. Magic Coat is now learnt at Level 1, Perish Song at Level 41, Relic Song at Level 61*, Boomburst at Level 66 and both Psychic and Hyper Voice's levels learnt have been switched. - Golem now has a fresh manicure and can learn TM01 Hone Claws - Seed Flare and Magma Storm have been adjusted and been distributed to more Pokémon. Trainer rosters have been updated to accomodate. These are; [Seed Flare] - Has had it's Accuracy increased from 85 to 90 but now it only has a 20% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense by 1 stage instead of a 40% chance of lowering Special Defense by 2 stages. -Venusaur, Meganium, Jumpluff, Sunflora, Whimiscott, Lilligant and Maractus have had Seed Flare added to their movepools. [Magma Storm] - Has had it's Accuracy increased from 70 to 85. Slugma, Magcargo, Numel, Camerupt, Magmortar and Heatmor have had Magma Storm added to their movepools. - Fixed Pokemon Ranger Keith's Overworld Sprite on Route 15. - Liberty Garden is now able to be accessed when the player receives the Liberty Pass! It has been moved to Post-Game content but it means that Victini is now able to be caught officially during a playthrough without relying on hacking in via Mystery Gift. -In a similar vein, new post-game events have been added, allowing the other Unova mythicals to be caught during the Post-Game. I should note that the special Faraway place events associated with Meloetta and Genesect will not trigger due to their caught locations. Meloetta now naturally learns Relic Song as a result. - A new Zoroark event has been added in Lostlorn Forest, after talking to an NPC in Driftveil City you can encounter a Lvl 30 Zoroark in Lostlorn Forest's caravan. It will drop a Lock Capsule upon being defeated or caught which you can take to Mr.Lock to get the TM for Snarl. =It would be wise to start a fresh save file for v1.3 due to these new events being implemented!= JetBlack V1.2 Changenotes. - Professor Juniper has some unique dialogue upon starting a new game so now that you know that the patching process worked instead of relying on your starter learning their first STAB move at Level 6. - Evolution Methods have been updated! Now they are no Day/Night requirements for certain Pokemon that require held items. The Deino line's evolution levels have also been tweaked, now evolving at Level 40 and 58 respectively. - The move Boomburst has been added to the game. Pokemon's learnsets as well as certain Trainer rosters have been updated to accomodate this change. - Submission now correctly denotes that it has an increased chance to critically hit in it's move description (it always has had that effect, I just forgot to change it from flinching... Oops) - The Unova Starters learnsets have been adapted to follow the upcoming JetBlack 2's learnset changes. - Hoopster Bobby is no longer mute after defeating him and now correctly awards a Heart Scale. - HMs can now be deleted! No need to go back and forth to the Move Deleter to unlearn those pesky HMs. JetBlack V1.1 Changenotes. - Documentation has been gone over and cleaned up, however I could've still missed a few things but it should be okay. - Added the general locations for custom item trainers in Features Document, also Skyla's Level Cap has now been corrected to 39. - Fixed the crash caused by Baker Chris in Village Bridge, however the daily event associated is no longer available. - Sorted out the additional Post-Game trainers found in Nimbasa City's Stadiums. Any trainers that award items upon being defeated now award Rare Candies instead of their vanilla items. - Royal Unova has been updated. Trainers have seen an update to their rosters and the rewards upon completing the event have been changed. Full details are now found in the Feature Documentation. - Black City's Trainers have been updated and will be full 6 man teams, meant for a cheeky optional challenge.. Should you get to Black City on time of course (but there's no need to rush! It's just a bonus!) - Luxray now correctly has Guts in it's first ability slot instead of Rivalry.
