INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Hack Version: 1.2.2
(Only the MOD is 1.2.2, BASE ROM needs to be on 1.5 version)

Q: What do I need in order to play this hack?

  1. Pokémon X/Y.3ds or Pokémon X/Y.cia + 1.5 Update installed

IMPORTANT: The game WILL NOT WORK without the 1.5 update!

  1. To install the update in your favorite Emulator, just go to File -> Install .cia and select the correct file for your game. To update it on the 3DS, just search for the update (Check through your favorite app, download and install it)

  1. The ROMFS folder, the code.bin and the icon.bin found in the .zip you’ve downloaded. If you downloaded a version with two folders (exefs and romfs), take both code.bin and icon.bin out of the exefs folder and delete it.

  1. An Emulator or a Nintendo 3DS with Custom Firmware and the latest version of Luma 3DS.

  1. The TITLE ID for each game:

Pokémon X: 0004000000055D00

Pokémon Y: 0004000000055E00

WARNING: The instructions are different for different systems, so be sure to check the instructions regarding your system!

IMPORTANT: You don’t need to delete your save file (if you already have one) to update the MOD. But, it’s always nice to have a backup, just in case.

PC - CITRA/LIME 3DS/AZAHAR

  1. Open the Emulator, click on “ADD NEW GAME DIRECTORY” and select the folder where your ROM is located.

  1. Install the .cia 1.5 update clicking on “INSTALL .cia” for your version and select the file for your version.

  1. Right-clicking the game in the emulator's file browser and click on OPEN, then click on MODS LOCATION.

  1. Drag CODE.BIN, ICON.BIN and the ROMFS folder and drop them into the TITLE ID folder of the emulator (Check your version's TITLE ID). If you downloaded a version with two folders (exefs and romfs), take both code.bin and icon.bin out of the exefs folder and delete it.

  1. Finally, start the game; the mod should now be active.

IMPORTANT: If this didn't work, delete all Mod Files you've downloaded, extract them again and restart the process.

ANDROID - CITRA MOBILE/CITRA MMJ

  1. Create this file path: citra-emu -> load -> mods -> TITLE ID (name the folder after the ID of your version, copy the red part).

TITLE ID Pokémon X: 0004000000055D00

TITLE ID Pokémon Y: 0004000000055E00

  1. Install the .cia 1.5 update clicking on “INSTALL .cia” for your version and select the file for your version.

  1. Drag CODE.BIN, ICON.BIN and the ROMFS folder and drop them into the folder with the correct TITLE ID of your version.

If you downloaded a version with two folders (exefs and romfs), take both code.bin and icon.bin out of the exefs folder and delete it.

NINTENDO 3DS (Luma 3DS)

What you need:

  1. Custom firmware 3DS with the latest version of Luma3DS (if you do not have this, follow this guide).

  1. Pokémon X/Y.cia + 1.5 Update.

  1. The CODE.BIN, ICON.BIN and ROMFS folder found inside the .zip you’ve downloaded. If you downloaded a version with two folders (exefs and romfs), take both code.bin and icon.bin out of the exefs folder and delete it.

Installing:

  1. Install the 1.5 update for your version through your favorite eShop Homebrew app.

  1. Navigate to luma -> titles -> 0004000000055D00 (for Pokémon X) or 0004000000055E00 (for Pokémon Y)

  1. Paste CODE.BIN, ICON.BIN and the ROMFS folder to the correct TITLE ID folder of your version. If you downloaded a version with two folders (exefs and romfs), take both code.bin and icon.bin out of the exefs folder and delete it.

  1. Reinsert your SD card and power on your 3DS while holding Select. This should bring you to the Luma boot screen.

  1. Enable game patching within the Luma settings. Save and Exit.

  1. And start the game!

IMPORTANT: If this didn't work, delete all Mod Files you've downloaded, extract them again and restart the process.
