## Description

**Pokemon Serene Crystal** is a Pokemon GBC ROM Hack by PeanutellaXO based on Pokemon Crystal. It was last updated on April 5, 2024.

**Description:**
Serene Crystal is a hack designed to refresh the Crystal experience. It introduces new gym leaders, Pokémon from newer generations, and original regional forms. There have also been several QoL improvements to enhance gameplay. The overall story is about the same (with minor tweaks to certain characters for a more cohesive narrative). 

**Features:**
-Updated Pokedex (old/new Pokémon)
-Better balancing & level curve.
-New original regional forms
-2 new gym leaders replacing old ones; an older gym leader promoted to a higher gym.
-Can forget HMs
-Pokémon sprite changes
-QoL changes (running, no fainting of poison out of battle, evolution stones to buy at Goldenrod)
-Rebalanced type chart (buffing weaker types, slightly nerfing stronger types)
-Some weaker Pokémon have stat buffs
-Pokémon have better movesets/updated stats to Gen 7
-Trade evos evolve without trades (items used like stones)
-Moves from newer generations
